The year 2023 will mark the 30th anniversary of Yakushima being registered as a World Natural Heritage site.
Yakushima FESTIVAL will be held to celebrate our 30th anniversary with both domestic and international guests as well as local residents！
Please visit Yakushima, a triple crown island of World Natural Heritage, Ramsar Convention-listed wetlands, and UNESCO Eco Park！Let's celebrate together！

Sea Turtle Observation Tour
Yakushima Island is one of the world's leading spawning grounds for sea turtles.
Turtle observation tours at Nagata Beach, Nagata Inaka Beach, and other spawning grounds, where turtles lay eggs in May to June and hatchlings leave for the islands in July to August.
